ACG Construction handles residential and light commercial projects in the Winnipeg area. We run a mix of 2 & 4 stroke equipment, diesel machines, fleet vehicles, and various tools. We need someone reliable to keep everything running, the yard clean, and materials moving.

Job Description: As Equipment Maintenance & Shop Hand, you will maintain & repair our fleet and tools, keep the shop and yard organized, handle deliveries, and support basic site needs.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on 2 & 4 stroke engines, diesel equipment, fleet vehicles, and other machinery.
Keep the shop, yard, and equipment clean and organized.
Load and unload trailers.
Pick up and deliver materials and equipment as needed.
Open the sites in the morning, clear snow, cut grass, and handle general yard maintenance.
Assist contractors on sites with cleanup and basic tasks when required.
Track basic maintenance logs and report issues promptly.
Follow safety practices around equipment and vehicles.
Create and Follow Work Orders.

Requirements:

Experience with small engines, diesel, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Comfortable operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy items and work outdoors in Manitoba weather.
Reliable, self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
Full-time position with some early starts and occasional Evening or Weekends.

Benefits:

Hourly wage $21 – $30 per hour, depending on experience and mechanical skills.
Overtime opportunities during busy seasons.
